Allow Cascade filtering when using Pre-filtering in the short -code, with the term added to the short-code the first in the ‘Cascade”.
There is a fundamental issue with Cascade filtering provided in the Powerful Filters addon: It does not integrate with other column filters and in some circumstances disallows their use. e.g.
Pre-filtering in the short code, as outlined above by Martin, and also will not accept the wdt_md_col_value from the Master-Detail addon.
Predefined/default values cannot be utilised - neither static or variable: I wanted to use to/from values based upon dynamic MIN/MAX values from the preceding column.
These issues were raised with and confirmed by wpDataTables support.
